Our Story
In January 2024, we began gathering at Casa Blanca, a coffee shop in Wilmington, NC, with a simple vision: to cultivate a brotherhood of men passionately pursuing discipleship unto the Man Christ Jesus. Our desire was never to replace the local church but to complement it by addressing the often-missing element of deep, intentional discipleship. Rather than hosting another Bible study, we sought to move beyond simply reading Scripture and have aimed to equip men to live out its truths as an experiential reality that transforms every aspect of their lives. Over the past year, we have worked to build a culture of wholehearted devotion, raising up men who have fully surrendered and devoted themselves to Jesus as His disciples. We strive to do this through weekly group gatherings, 1on1 discipleship, offering an abundance of training resources to cultivate a healthy spiritual life, and more. Meetings consist of teaching, discussion, communion and prayer—all of which are led and guided by the Holy Spirit.
We long to awaken believers to the reality that we have become portable earthly dwelling places for the Presence of God.
As our ministry continues to grow, we remain committed to equipping men to walk faithfully with Jesus in every aspect of life. In the Old Testament, the Tabernacle was the dwelling place of God’s Presence, but under the New Covenant, we—His people—have become living tabernacles, carriers of His Spirit. Our understanding of discipleship reflects a holistic approach that nurtures spiritual depth, emotional health, and physical stewardship, recognizing that every aspect of our lives should come under the Lordship of Jesus. This includes our choices regarding what we consume, how we exercise, and the way we care for our bodies. By embracing His Lordship and honoring God with our bodies, we reflect His glory and position ourselves to fulfill His purpose more effectively. Therefore, we strive to cultivate a culture where men grow in their knowledge of Christ and learn to embody His presence in every part of their lives, becoming mindful stewards of their health and well-being in spirit, soul, and body.

DANIEL WILSON
FOUNDER // Tabernacle Project
DANIEL’S STORY
Daniel Wilson was raised in a home where Jesus was central, but his faith was significantly tested when he was diagnosed with cancer at thirteen. After eight months of chemotherapy, he was declared in remission, only to relapse six months later with just a seven percent survival chance. This deeply shook his faith, leading him to wrestle with anger toward God, believing that his sickness was meant to teach him a lesson. Despite his doubts, the treatments worked, and he was healed. He went on to fully pursue basketball, earning a scholarship to Belmont Abbey College, but his career was cut short due to lymphedema, which sent him spiraling into a season of depression. At his lowest, he challenged God to tangibly reveal Himself—and God answered powerfully. During a discipleship school, Daniel had a vivid vision of his heart of stone being replaced with a heart of flesh, and he was radically transformed by God’s love.
This encounter launched him into a life of discipleship and missions, taking him to Nepal, Ireland, and eventually Israel, where he and his wife, Elizabeth, followed God’s call in faith. While in Israel, Daniel experienced another supernatural encounter—seeing a mural of the bleeding woman from the Gospels, he reached out towards the mural and prayed a prayer of faith, believing for healing. Despite prior medical confirmation of infertility, he and Elizabeth soon discovered she was miraculously pregnant with their son, Levi Warrior. After returning to the America, Daniel sought God’s direction and felt a growing burden for discipleship.
In Wilmington, he began gathering with a small group of believers, which grew as people hungered for deep, life-on-life discipleship. In early 2025, after 21 days of prayer, Daniel received multiple confirmations to launch Tabernacle Project—a ministry dedicated to equipping believers to know Jesus intimately and make Him known accurately. Stepping out in faith, he committed fully to this mission, driven by a simple yet profound purpose: to abide in Christ and teach others to do the same.
